Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is best known for her roles as a lead actress in many television series however, she also has impressive roles in films. Her work is a hit on Canadian as well as American television. Emily's interest in acting began at the age of 12 when she was visiting their sister Katie who was shooting one of Katie's movies. When Emily realized her love for acting, she took acting classes and attended auditions. At first, she was able to land a couple of commercials and was soon included in the Canadian children's horror television series Are You Scared of the Dark? It was just only one scene and without dialogue. On the WB TV show Glory Days, she received her first break in the industry when she was just 15 years old. Emily's character attracted the attention of Greg Berlanti, even though the show ended in just nine short episode. Greg Berlanti cast Emily as a regular character on Everwood. Emily was a professional ballet dancer who was also a photographer. Teen listed her as the number one actress in her 20s. Maxim ranked her 51st in its Hot 100 of 2014.
