Richard Bruce Cheney, son of Richard Herbert Cheney & Marjorie Lauraine Dickey was born on 30 January 1941, in Lincoln Nebraska. The family moved from Casper, Wyoming with his family when he was 13. He was raised by his father who worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture and directed the soil conservation district located in Casper.
