Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the teenager age. She was a kickboxer, boxer as well as wrestling, before making her first amateur appearance at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd kept building on her victory during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She defeated all her competitors in the initial round. After that, she went to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen by unanimous decision. The loss put a mark on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd won her next match with Roma Pawelek to improve to a record of 8-1. Aspen became a professional in 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her very first professional fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her first bout in the Bantamweight division. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen used superior wrestling to take down McGill in the third round via TKO. Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy with an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd was not able to weigh in. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in 2nd round via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round at the end of the second. Then, in her third fight she overcame Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd defeated Evinger in the very first round and received a bonus for her performance during the night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first match she's had in a major way. The two fights were one of the most competitive fights that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight and ended the streak of winning. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya in the third round of UFC in ESPN 7. In her recent fight for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
