April Lockhart

April Lockhart is a born on July 4th in 1995. At the age of seven she began taking piano and guitar lessons. The lessons ignited her interest for songwriting. At the age of 12 April wrote her first tune Different. at the age of 14 April, she spent a lot of time writing songs and honed her musical abilities. In the following months she began taking writing trips together with her dad and her father to LA and NY. April started to incorporate other relevant topics into the"Take my Hand song for some friends, such as peer-pressure disabilities and even teenage suicide. Lockhart has her own fanbase and also works as a lifestyle blogger at the well-known Ilia the Clean Beauty brand. It's true that she was born with no left hand. It gives her a unique look. However, that's not the only characteristic of her. In the end, Lockhart's profile isn't afraid to talk about her disabilities, yet she doesn't focus on the issue either. The message? The message? That we have many different aspects, that the identities we have and our physical bodies do not reflect all they seem. It's not my intention to let that determine me. I do not want to become a disability advocate in the sense that I only talk about because there are so different aspects to me Lockhart speaks via video from her residence in Nashville. This doesn't have any effect on my normal life. I just do everything normally and I've found the best way for me to adapt to things. Since it's part of my identity, it's something that's worthy of discussion. Lockhart's self-acceptance journey is one that can last an entire lifetime. She has been a source of inspiration in this regard. She admits that she's been through a series of phases in her body not being confident in wearing certain kinds of clothing which accentuated her arms. She wears whatever she wants and posts photos of herself wearing the clothes she selects to share on social networks. Self-love, she says is a journey. It's hard to say if you'll ever reach the end. It's a journey, I'm sure that you never reach your destination. It's essential to have those around you who are aware of and can relate to you. They will be able to remind you of the things you're worried about.
