Molly Tarlov is an American actress who is famous for her role in the recurring character Sadie Saxton in the teen comedy-drama TV series Awkward, since 2011. Tarlov was the second of two daughters who was born in the home of her parents in Manhattan. When she was a ten-year-old she played the role of the role of Mrs. Peterson as part of the Little Red School House production of Bye Bye Birdie. This was greatly praised by the audience of seven graders. As she got older she was a summer student in the Interlochen Center for the Arts and also in Paris learning with NYU's Tisch. Bennington College is where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts (theatre) and was trained in a variety of acting styles. The Atlantic Theater Company was another place she studied. Molly also integrated writing into her show at the LAByrinth Theatre master class. Molly switched her dark jacket for a black pair of sunglasses, before going to Los Angeles. Molly quickly got a three-word character on iCarly that attracted a lot of attention by her family and friends. Since then, she's appeared in a number of TV series and portrayed Caitlin, the main character in Winnie and Savannah Dooley's ABC Family series Huge. Molly is a professional basketball player who is convinced that she's more talented than she actually is. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
