Jenna Fischer has become best known for her role as Pam Beesly, the character she portrayed on The Office. In the course of playing this part, Jenna was honored with two SAG Awards in Outstanding Ensemble Comedy and also an Emmy Award for the Best Supporting Actress.
Jenna was raised in Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna watched as her mother Anne was in the church stage. She was awed by performance and theatre was cultivated when she was a young girl.
Fischer was a stage actress in her own country. She starred as Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway production Reasons to be Happy. She then starred in Steve Martin's Meteor Shower - an absurdist production starring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg - for the Old Globe Theatre's first world premiere.

In the beginning of January, 2021, Office Ladies won iHeart Radio's Podcast of the Year award.
She's the author of The Actor's Life An Actor's Survival Guide (coauthored with Angela Kinsey), in which her journey between St. Louis to Hollywood and becoming an actor is detailed.
